Multi-Day Elopement At San Francisco City Hall

This multi-day elopement experience at San Francisco City Hall turned out to be really amazing! My lead photographer, Diane, shot both of these days with Jenifer and Stephen! The best part about a multi-day elopement is that you can have a calm, relaxed, and intentional experience with your partner. They started off with a San Francisco City Hall ceremony and then a week later they had their reception at Foreign Cinema! Come see more about this beautiful elopement with this lovely couple!

A Multi-Day Elopement Experience In The City With Jenifer & Stephen

Day 1: The Ceremony

From Diane:

“The ceremony from this multi-day elopement was great! The ceremony went by REALLY quickly, but we made up for that quickness by going up to the 4th floor and letting them say their personal vows to each other. After saying their vows, we went into couples’ photos! Jenifer had on a beautiful white jumpsuit and studded white pointy boots; they’ll be wearing the same outfit on their reception day! Stephen had a light chambray textured suit with a pink tie (Jenifer had on a matching colored leather jacket that matched his tie!). They were both so stylish!

The couple’s photos went SO well! Jenifer and Stephen were so easygoing and easy to work with. Although they were nervous in the beginning, they loosened up eventually and were grateful to have been guided through poses.”

Day 2: The Reception

From Diane:

“Jenifer and Stephen’s reception day from their multi-day elopement was SO CHILL. It was so fun! 10 Things I Hate About You was playing on the TV while Jenifer was getting their hair done in the living room area, and Stephen was chillin’ in the other room. The view of the city was so cool – right outside their window! They had some champagne during their time together in the hotel – funny story about the champagne was they thought it was affordable but it turned out they looked at the price for the glass rather than the bottle! So they had some pretty fancy and expensive champagne while watching The Devil Wears Prada.

A sweet moment helping each other out with their jackets, S’s tie, and J’s necklace; I remember J specifically asking S, “Stephen, would you like to lovingly put on my necklace?”. Stephen’s mom and Jenifer’s parents stop by for a bit and they’re all excited!

The setup was so cute and perfect; they did a really great job with the flowers that were done by themselves! Movies started playing before dinner and then dinner and toasts started. Each toast was very heartfelt and it was really sweet how Stephen would look at Jenifer during toasts. After toasts, it was more hanging out! The night was effortless, just how the couple wanted: guests hanging out, enjoying good food and drinks. “
