how far in advance should we book our date?

As soon as you find your vendor, book them right away as most vendors book up fast! Most couples book 10 - 16 months in advance of their wedding date.

How do we reserve our date?

You will need to sign a contract and pay a non-refundable retainer fee (50% for most packages, 30% for all-inclusive packages) Once those are both done, then you are all set! Your date will be officially booked and we will get the party started!

What is the difference between an elopement, intimate wedding, and a regular wedding?

This is a very common question people have. The huge difference is typically the number of people attending. Elopements usually have just the couple and maybe a few friends, less than 10 people and have the flexibility of traveling to multiple locations for events. Intimate weddings can be shorter than traditional weddings and have anywhere from 10 - 30 guests, depending on the location. Traditional weddings have 80+ guests and take up the whole day at one to two locations. Do note that the maximum number we require for intimate weddings are 30 guests.

how far do you travel?

We love to travel so we don’t mind traveling far distances for either an engagement session or a wedding. Our wedding packages include travel up to 120 miles total from Sonoma, CA. Some packages do include travel costs and fees, this will be specified in the package.

do you offer prints and albums?

Heck yes! We have many different print, wall art and album options available. You can even purchase prints and wall art directly from your online gallery. You can add albums on to your package and we have a few different options when it comes to designing your perfect heirloom album.

How do you protect and save photos?

This is a really important question that you should ask any photographer you talk to. We have a very thorough process, as backing up photos is one of the most important parts of photographing a wedding. We upload the images to a hard drive the same day as the wedding to make sure they are safe. We also backup those images to two other hard drives and one more backup to the cloud. We also don’t delete the images of the original memory cards until the gallery has been delivered. After the images have been delivered, we keep one copy of the RAW files on a hard drive and one copy in the cloud for 7 years.

Do you offer discounts?

Not at this time. Our pricing is based on the cost of running a business (taxes, expenses, etc.), our experience, the experience we provide, equipment used, and our time from start to finish. We also believe it would be unfair to our current and future clients if they were to have to pay full cost when others were provided with discounts. We make sure the money you are investing into our services is worth every cent! We do offer many different payment plans if needed and our associate team prices are at a lower price point than Michelle's.

are you insured?

Yes! A lot of venues require proof of liability insurance. If your venue requires it, we can reach out to our insurance company and can provide a copy for your venue within 48 hours.

How does all-inclusive packages work?

There is a method to this madness! Michelle will be your main designer, planner, florist pre-wedding. She will be your main contact during the whole pre-wedding process. On the day of the wedding, she obviously can't be in multiple places at once, so she will have an amazing team to support her. This includes assistant planners, assistant florists, and any other helpful hands she may need. She will be the main photographer on your big day but also the head honcho to the rest of the team making sure everything runs smoothly.
