This was such a beautiful and intimate winter wedding at MacArthur Place in Sonoma! It was an absolutely beautiful location and I cannot wait to shoot another wedding and create a beautiful floral design here in the near future! The MacArthur Sonoma Hotel is located in the heart of the beautiful California wine country! I love how intimate this setting is and because the property sits on six beautifully landscaped acres, it offers stunning and picturesque backdrops for wedding portraits! Their gardens are also beautifully maintained and they offer both indoor and outdoor options for weddings.

Kristen & Christophers Intimate Winter Wedding at MacArthur Sonoma Hotel

Not only did my team photograph this wedding, but we also did the flowers as well! Forest green, white, and gold were the colors this couple chose for their wedding, and I loved bringing their floral dreams to life! First, we started with detail and flat-lay photos while Kristen and her mom had a bite to eat. Then they headed into the bathroom to get ready because when Kristen was growing up, she always got ready in her mom’s bathroom, so photos of them getting ready together in the bathroom felt natural!

Afterward, we headed over to get photos of Chris and his groomsman getting ready. You could tell that Chris was filled with so much anticipation and excitement to see Kristen in her beautiful wedding dress! These two did a first look and I believe it helped calm the nerves before walking down the aisle. They read their sweet vows to one another and shared some sweet hugs, then afterward we did some family photos.

This wedding had such a small guest list which makes for an intimate wedding day! Cocktail hour was super chill and lots of fun! It was filled with some sweet toasts, impromptu dancing, and shots! They also had the cutest custom wedding napkins of their 10-year-old cat named Archie! It was so cute! Because their wedding was so intimate, Kristen and Chris were able to mix and mingle with all their guests.
