This whole day was such an adventure!! Kelly and Adam decided on Point Reyes engagement photos because they wanted the views, the adventure, and the romantic vibes! We incorporated two different locations to represent their love and because they wanted to embrace the true California vibes into their session! Beach Engagement Photoshoot With Kelly & Adam
We started at Tomales Point Trail and this is during the Elk mating season so we couldn’t leave the trail too much since Elk become the most aggressive during this time. This specific area is an Elk Reserve so typically around sunset time they slowly make their way back to their homes/beds! You can see them running along the hills and eventually they cross over the trail to go on the coastal side!! Then, we went to McClures Beach which is a full on trail hike down to the beach! It is about a 10-15 minute hike down and truly is a hike!! Make sure to be prepared if you choose this location for your engagement!
We arrived at the beach and it was SO amazing! There weren’t many people there and it is super intimate and an isolated area so, it makes for a really romantic location. We stayed up until the sun fully set and hiked back to the cars. It was dark out by this point, hiking up the hill in the dark was interesting but SO worth the adventure! Seriously, count me in for any adventure engagement sessions here!
