A magical redwood wedding of my dreams!
This stunning, drop dead gorgeous, intimate forest wedding in the redwoods of Santa Cruz, California was the best most laid back and beautiful weddings I have ever been a part of!!! This wedding was located at the awesome Roaring Camp in Felton, CA! It was filled with tons of unique elements (like having to go on a train to get to the ceremony location) and beauty! Come see this wedding for yourself – I promise you won’t regret it!
A Forest Destination Wedding
Adele & Travis actually live in Tennessee and decided for a destination wedding out here in California! They love the outdoors which drew them to the Roaring Camp! It definitely was the perfect location for them! Because of COVID they had to make their destination wedding into a smaller size and invite fewer guests. But, that did not hold them back from having a blast all together! They were definitely a very laid back couple that wanted their wedding to resemble that too. I loved how casual everything was for them!!
Unique Roaring Camp Wedding Location and Ideas
This place is so cool! It is a train tour place that takes you around the Santa Cruz mountain redwoods. You take a train from the main area to the ceremony site which is about 20-30 minutes! Takes you up and down, and switchbacks, it is super cool!! Once we arrived at the ceremony site it was in a grove of redwood trees. Absolutely stunning! The whole wedding party, family and guests are on the train so everyone gets off at the same time. The couple didn’t do a first look so this was the first time of the bride and groom seeing each other!
It was a lovely ceremony under the trees! We only had a few minutes at the site for photos and then we had to head back and catch the train. In those short few minutes we captured some stunning photos of them surrounded by the trees!
